New York is a song written after a friend saw me play in Chicago. We later walked around and talked about life for a bit. Tried to find a bar but they were all closed. Drank in a hotel room instead. Then paid $50 for parking.

Your Side is a song written after throwing a music festival in my yard. It was my senior year of college. Everyone was dancing. Until someone played Snow Patrol. It was one of the best days of my life.

Lyrics:
You’re on a plane home from somewhere you might be from and I miss you
You have no idea what your future will be and that makes you exactly like me

I hope you’ll be from Chicago so I never have to see you go
But I’m scared this will be your own cause you might have to see me go

New York might have a little something more for ya girl
Why have me when you can have the whole wide world?
New York might have a little more in store for ya girl
But if you ever want me I’ll always be your second city

Laying down in your Kimpton suite you ask me why I have these dreams
I know I can be anything I’d like and be with you all the time

But I heard what Adam had to say and I couldn’t let my life be a shame

I’m only clothed because of you
Rock shirts and J Crew dressed our youth
This love is all we know to be true
Are you telling the truth?
Am I telling the truth?

Your Side
Written September 2017, recorded April 2019

Lyrics by Dean Sinclair

Performed by:
Dean Sinclair- Vocals, keys, drums
Freddy Purcell- Bass, keys, vocals
Steven Rejdukowski- Guitar, keys, vocals

Produced and Mixed by Freddy Purcell at Ember Omega Studios in Palatine, IL
Mastered by Doug McBride at Gravity Studios in Chicago, IL

Lyrics:
You bring out parts of me
I wish I didn’t have to see

Like the one where I try desperately
Show my worth to you so readily

And I’m only hurting myself
In an attempt to bring out what you felt

So we’ll dance to “Light Me Up”
Catching eyes until our four erupt

Only time I feel alive
Is when I’m by your side

Don’t ask how I’m doing
But instead what I’m going through

Well ya know it’s the usual
Still haven’t gotten over you
